This is a mellow rock song about the desire to be with the one you love, even though they are unavailable. The person who you love is hurting, and you are begging them to forgo the consequences to be with you just for a moment.
An older, classic rock song from the 60's, the lo-fi nature of the song lends itself to the desperation of the narrator. It's almost like you can see the feelings he is experiencing. The eclectic instrumentation of orchestral and rock band elements also provides an interesting perspective to this teenaged love story.
I can personally recall this song to a moment in time where I was deeply infatuated with a girl from high school. The entire school was coming back from Disneyland from grad night, and I remember sitting on the bus with this song playing, bombarded by thoughts of failure, jealousy, and desire.

About The Curator - Evan Lesniak
Evan Lesniak is an old soul in a young man’s body. He shuns modern music for the vibe of 1960’s and 1970’s rock and roll, jazz, and any amalgamation of the two. He is a musician/composer who writes and records his own music in his own bedroom – but you certainly couldn’t tell.
