The hoof is always on the search for new music, he utilises modern tech, but he let’s the algorithms work for him, but he’s also a stubborn old stallion and likes to do things the old fashioned way, so it’s back to basics, searching through magazines, blogs and websites, like Le Visiteur, Monkeyboxing, Music is my Sanctuary, Test Pressing, Five Mag, Faith, 45 Live, The Vinyl Factory, Wax Poetics and many many more.
Aa always thanks to Bill Brewsters ‘Furtive 50’ for the last few recommendations. There’s now around 1000 tracks on the playlist and as easy it would be for me to continue to search for what was hot in 2022, its time to move on, as the search for 2023 tunes begins.
