The band sound as if they pay tribute to the opening of Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles with delicate guitar riffs throughout this song. California Daze includes soft vocals and harmonies, which mould into the elements of a love song about a girl that ‘tastes like sunlight’, this song brings a calm and tranquil sensation which urges the listener to relax into a peaceful state.
When I listen to this song, I can instantly picture my front garden, looking out on the trees, fields and mountains. I can also smell the freshness of the cut grass standing in my garden that wafts through the breeze.
This song will make you want to forget about everything and just relaxxxxxxxx.
