This first track is from Ours Samplus, a duo of french beatmakers. Founded by Lille-based artists GuiB and Yousla, Ours Samplus is one of the most prolific duos of its kind.
Their first EP from which Like The Sunshine is extracted, was resealed in 2014. They are now working on a new opus for the end of 2020, as well as preparing a powerful live performance based on an animated movie by Ours Samples. The period of confinement also gave the duo Ours Samplus an opportunity to explore new horizons and craft their last EP Antares this year, in just a few weeks.
Their music takes its source from hip hop, electronic and jazz, resulting in a brilliant trip hop/chillout atmosphere.
If you think of old school, soulful and groovy, this track has it all.
Travel back in time with the echoed voice of the woman, adding substance to the melody, and the contrast between the beats and the instrumental, making it evenly balanced, urban and classy, mysterious and audacious.
