Yoooo.... ok ok listen.... a message to any artist trying to get on any playlist of any kinds. Do your research. That is the best advice I can ever give. And with this next track I can tell this artist did his research. Anyone who reads what I write and things posted about me know Im from Florida.
This next track was an obviously targeted track for my playlist and to be honest I couldn't deny it.
If you dont know what Jook music is then you havent been to the right parts of Florida yet. I know a lot of people just started to even know it existed beyond Florida after Drake brought it to our attention with his track on DJ Khaled's latest album. But I promise you havent heard it in true form until you do enough research and listen to that true Miami influenced raw Jook music.
In this track "Slide" Palmetto Wave took us there for sure! This record got me exited! I was going through all my submissions trying to find that right track and bam! As I'm writing this if you know what Jookin is then you know how my shoulders are moving. I was scared I wouldnt be able to give you guys some of that real southern flavor this week. I was afraid I had a block this week. Well I found some of that deep down southern funk from "Da Bottom" and Its all yours, so enjoy!
