When I first heard this track I had to share it with everyone I could. Ive been following Quincy Lamont Williams, better known by his stage name Peewee Longway for quite a while now. And he has done nothing short of impress me with every project he releases.
This track addresses a lot of the issues of today and covers some very important history that is not always covered in Hip Hop. Peewee has a style that you some times have to listen very carefully because you might miss what he says. But at times he slows it down to make sure he gets his point across. Even though this record hits on what some would call a touchy subject the feel of it is still very bouncy and can be played in a club. This is the perfect example of what I talk about a lot from Southern Hip Hop. In the south we can get seriously lyrical yet keep it bouncy when we want to. Press play on the playlist and when you get to this track pay close attention to Peewee Longway.
