SAINt JHN can be regarded as one of the best new artists of the last year. Though he had a couple of singles before, he made the cut with his first album "Collection One" released in 2018 without a label. The 13-track album also includes the extended version of "Some Nights" which the artist dropped in 2017 as a single. It's getting harder to promote and introduce your music without getting a feature from high-profile artists these days. And if you're independent, it's harder to get a solid feature too. Under these circumstances, SAINt JHN has done a great job. Recently, he cofounded a music collective named GØDD COMPLEXx. His latest album Ghetto Lenny's Love Songs was released under this label.
Although the project is completely a trap album, I can say that the artist tried something new in some songs. Nevertheless, there is still much work to be done for SAINt JHN to mature the sound. Obviously, SAINt JHN has never been a great songwriter, but somehow he managed to keep the audience in the mood with his creative vocal techniques. Aside from Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Diplo, Goldlink, A Boogie and Da Hoodie, the album also has a surprise appearance from legend Lenny Kravitz. Even when we look at the featuring artists, it is possible to say that the album is not a dry trap album but also it’s fed with RnB and funk sounds. As everyone knows, Drake and Kanye West have been arguing each other for a long time over Twitter and their songs. We knew that Meek Mill was standing next to Drake in this beef, but both both sides have been quiet for a while until Meek surprisingly appeared on 2nd track of the album, Anything Can Happen. Meek criticized Ye over Ye’s support for Donald Trump and his politic ignorance. Meek is not wrong for sure. Trump has always been so controversial about immigrant policies, black people and gun laws as a president of the so-called diverse country. It is insane how Ye even wore that “make america great again” hat. Meek must be really pissed that he even used Ye’s name in his verse:

SAINt JHN also explains the difference between two of his albums:
"Collection One is a guy that walked into a bar with his blue mink and there’s a girl sitting at the bar. She saw me walk in to order her a drink, paid for it and left. I never introduced myself nor asked for her name. She got the impression but no information about me. Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs is where I come back to introduce myself. It’s a random night and the same girl at the bar. But I left her hoping for something and I came back to tell her a little about myself. That’s Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs."
