I remember the first time I heard this track was from a movie. The moment I heard those light droplets of sweet tones, I was so interested to hear the complete song. And when I did, I absolutely wasn’t disappointed. I immediately searched the artist, the lead singer, the album it was from, and of course, the lyrics. This is the first track in the album and It’ll surely make you want to listen to the other eleven.
Brittany Howard is an R&B, Soul, and Rock, master. Her voice is what I can always remember her for. It’s just so powerful and sentimental, you get hit with that perfect harmony. Sound & Color has got to be one of my favorites from the album, and I really mean “one of” because the whole album is a masterpiece in itself.
