The first few times I had this on repeat, it gave me such calming tones and sounds. I even pictured crowds of people just swaying every time the chorus would hit. But after knowing more about this and its lyrics, it hit me even more to how much this song should mean to us. It’s a merge of meanings when it comes to politics and our own beliefs. Pretty deep if you’d ask me, but what caught me, of course, was the way MGMT created the lyrics for this. It’s like, “Who would’ve known?” You have to give it a listen for yourself and understand what I’m talking about. Songs have so much more to them and that’s what amazes me every single day.
