The song starts out with a chill guitar and catchy drum beat, and doesn't waste any time trying to build up because the song catches your attention in the first few riffs. The vocals also sound fantastic and sit very well within in the song. The Golden Hour is one of those bands that found their sound and these guys captured great energy with their instruments.
The Golden Hour is an alternative rock band, formed in 2016, they are now releasing their first EP “Vices”, their sound reflects the influences of a wide variety of musical acts, such as The Kooks, The 1975 and Foster The People. The Golden Hour began when four friends started writing original songs and has evolved into a solid band with solid material and solid intentions of world domination.
"Neon is our lead single, it has the catchiest chorus we've ever written, the lyrics evoke thoughts of youth and angst, but the music makes you want to dance, we put a lot of effort into the second half of the song, the structure itself tells a story, also, we have had it compared to Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People."
