This song has scat singing in it. Need I say any more?
It starts out with a cool piano and soulful vocals. Before you know it, you are sucked into the catchy beat as soon as the drums drop in. With a powerful horn section, scratchy guitars, and amazing vocals. David Shaw (lead singer) can really belt it.
Let’s not forget about the bass line. It will surely leave you head bobbing without even realizing it. The song takes you on a rollercoaster of a ride, and is great for pumping you up at the gym, driving down the highway (or sitting in traffic), or jumping out of a plane. The transitions from chorus to breakdown are so smooth that you might not even notice how well all the instruments play off of each other.
Truly a song to surf naked on the sun.
