This Too, Shall Pass...
Can't even remember the amount of times I've told this to myself, but the kindness, the amount of compassion embedded in those simple words can be a life saver.
So many moments when there hasn't been a single soul to take my hand and comfort me, telling me that everything will be alright, so many moments of utter and complete loneliness when there's only been a voice in my head telling myself "This too, shall pass". And a gentle reminder of everything I've managed to overcome, a gentle reminder of the enormous strength my soul has, that even some of my greatest fears have come and gone by, leaving only the mark of my soul intact, of that profound love within myself that just tells me that this situation, like all the others, shall also pass.
And just like that, the beauty of life and hope gets restored to its most innocent and beautiful state, knowing that it can go well beyond all suffering and all desperation and always find itself above them, above it all.
There's a sacredness to us, a sacredness to the moments of love we've experienced, let's strive to find it tonight, listen to this song, close your eyes and remember a short moment of love, just a brief remembrance of love within your memories, that's your divinity.
