I honestly don’t feel well enough to do much right now. Sometimes it feels like life swallows you and there’s not much to say or not much you can do but wait for those little breaks when you can just let your mind have a rest for a while.
This week’s song has been difficult to choose, I’ve passed through about five different choices and felt unsatisfied, I guess there are things that flow more easily when you feel in a better mood.
I don’t think I can make justice to any of the songs I choose, my words are not very fluent or very inspired, I think I’ll let the music speak for me.
I have finally chosen “Short Leave” by Alamo Race Track, it’s been six years since this song marked my life in the middle of a very difficult goodbye. All goodbyes feel difficult for me, every ending feels a little heartbreaking, even simple and foolish endings that people don’t really care about, it’s like I get stuck on loss, maybe I just have some sadness buried deep within me.
I think I have improved my acceptance of some of them but it also depends on my emotional state, I haven’t felt very well emotionally lately so endings can affect me a bit more, I guess.
There’s not much more to say, enjoy the song, feel it in your bones as I’ve felt it for so many years. Enjoy it, let it in your heart and let it stay, or go, if you wish.
