This week we have the pleasure to share with you this amazing song by New York duo "She Keeps Bees". Longing is such an evocative, beautiful song, a breath of tense calm, a window into a brief moment when your soul can only think of someone else's.
Staying in bed while listening to the rain fall down in the streets, thinking of another, longing...
Sometimes our best comfort can be the act of sharing what we feel with the world, waiting for kindred souls to remind us that we're not alone, other ones feel this way too, this poignancy, this familiar scent that lingers in the night, driving your mind away from the present to a desired reality, a cherished past, a shivering memory.
And we long the morning, waiting for it to come and take our minds off this illusion, make us race again, worry about all the small, unimportant things of everyday life, while secretly keeping that feeling in the back of our heads, longing, waiting for the next silent night to come up and haunt us again.
