Unconditional love. It’s the substance all humans are made up beneath those thick layers of fear.
Sometimes I can feel my true essence very close to me, sometimes I can tell there’s huge amounts of endless love pouring out of myself.
But there are days and situations that test you and make you confront those layers of fear that still cover your true self sometimes. This is one of those days.
How can it be possible to love this situation? My mind wonders. Sometimes I feel like my dad has been killed two times.
How can you love seeing such amount of hate? How can you love seeing such amount of hypocrisy and false morals? How can you love seeing people insult other people, prosecute them like criminals, people you care about, just for thinking differently?
This is my dilemma. My chest feels congested by my layers of fear, life’s demanding me to live and love beyond right and wrong and I haven’t felt up to it, it isn’t that easy, but I try.
In the meantime I take refuge in this song, this single moment of clarity and silence that can allow me to reflect and just enjoy some beauty, life gives you these gifts to remind you that spark beneath it all, that little light that ignites everything else and gives you meaning, life gives you the answer, every time.
I just need to let my mind go quiet for a little while and it’ll realize on its own, it will find that answer.
