To honor the dead is to honor life, and what better way to do so tonight than to remember such a giant artist like Ibrahim Ferrer in his exotic collaboration with Gorillaz.
I used to listen to this song so much a few years back, it resonated a lot with me.
The lyrics really made me rethink my perspective in times when overthinking and anxiety were one of my biggest foes. I felt Ibrahim singing to me, advising me to realize life is beautiful and we don't need to let every obstacle bring us down, there are so many wonderful things to be grateful and we just need to remind ourselves of all that beauty surrounding us every time our mind wants to trick us into thinking everything is wrong.
Enjoy Ibrahim's beautiful voice, let it resonate through eternity and move the souls of human beings for many generations to come.
