We can go to unknown territory for a moment and travel in time and space to Argentina in the 1980s, looking back to one of the most influential rock bands in Latin America, Soda Stereo.
Every nineties latino kid grew up listening to Gustavo Cerati’s voice and getting enchanted by this song and many others. This is a typical one that captured very uniquely the feeling of the evening, watching the sun go down and the city lights slowly start to turn on.
This is just like a time machine for me, such a special sound that brings me back to my childhood and my teen years, when my mind suddenly discovered the great meaning of the song and how it had touched my life so deeply and then decided to make it a lot more personal and meaningful.
There’s not much more to say than to recommend you to listen to this beauty, greatly influenced by his time and greatly influential on its own, with his very characteristic high guitar pitches and Gustavo’s deep voice. Enjoy the feeling of Buenos Aires in the late eighties.
