I always loved this soundtrack, I found it very moving, I didn’t love the movie that much but there was something about the piano pieces in the soundtrack that would captivate me every time.
This is a very short but powerful piece of music, leaves a mark on your memory quite easily, I remember there was a T.V. show years back in which they showed real stories from people who struggled with terrible things on my country, some of them were devastating. This song was used a lot on the soundtrack of the show and it got to me, the stories were very tough, it amazes me how there can exist such horrible situations in this world.
Even around the most terrible experiences there’s beauty, this song allows me to see that. Even on the darkest times you can see the light of the pure essence of the human soul, sometimes the people who have suffered the most have that light more visible, that reminder of their true selves and the real importance of things in life, people realize throughout struggle that love and happiness are what’s really worth living for, and when they manage to overcome pain they dedicate themselves to appreciate life more and more.
Let’s make a pledge to appreciate the little things, like the beauty of music on silent nights.
