Does it get more powerful than this? Does a song entrap more "Pathos", more aching hearts than this incredible jewel from Led Zeppelin? The expressive force behind that acoustic guitar vibrating steadily and its descend towards despair, mayhem, broken souls.
Robert Plant's voice, like a howling wolf in the middle of a full moon, shivering and screaming the desperate sounds of the ancestral mothers of humanity, crying for the loss of nature's innocence, suffering humanity's lack of wisdom and compassion.
And the repeat of yesterday's sadness, the forceful acceptance of a traumatic event, the dwelling on the fresh wound, the morning after, full of tremors and grief, full of absence of belief, lack of understanding.
Does it get better than this? Does music ever become as striking, as full of soul
Just listen, listen.
