Gratitude. It's the main fuel of everything good that can happen in our lives. This song brings me a big sense of joy and it makes me feel connected to so many of the roots of my country, built on the mixture of so many different cultures. This is the first song featuring a Colombian artist on this playlist, Ela Minus was born and raised here in Bogotá, my city, her voice reminds me a lot to the voice of another talented Colombian singer which will probably be featured later on the list.
This beat feels so connected to nature and to my country, reminds me of a documentary I watched on recent days called "El sendero de la Anaconda", about the Amazon rainforest, it's just so incredibly beautiful that you cannot comprehend how something so precious could ever be threatened, disrespected, devalued. But it still exists and it's still strong, it has managed to survive the greed of huge multinational corporations, all because of the amazing strength of its keepers, the indigenous people and their allies among the international community and the country.
Tonight, my gratitude is so immense that it overflows my chest and my body, tonight it grows so big that I can only hope it can influence someone else's heart and it fill them with such joy they can only do something extremely generous and loving for someone else.
