This week we’ve got another track that was submitted to our playlist via the musicto.com website, it’s Gymnast’s Away the Sun.
With its soft tranquility and a very lovely female voice, Away the Sun is an awesome companion to those lonely reflective nights we all need every now and then.
It’s a great song which develops over a wonderful piano accompaniment, only to be subtly joined at the end by an electric guitar which fills everything else, it feels like a soft swing, going back and forth through a gentle breeze.
It’s a song that always leaves me wondering, like a movie with an open ending, but it also leaves me with a sense of gratefulness for all it makes you feel, everything you experience listening to it.
I feel grateful for this amazing submission and hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did.
