Back in the day when we were finding Common Ground ;-p. I met Carles around the time we were looking for a new community platform to run the musicto community. We were very excited about being on-chain (we still are but perhaps a little more realistic nowadays ;-p) and we found a team of community builders in Common Ground.
They were – and still are – a bunch of really cool people doing really cool things. Florian and I made a playlist called – you guessed it – Common Ground – which was a lot of fun. Carles was active with his own community Brainiacs and the whole vibe was upbeat and optimistic.
We came up against the needs of a way more trad community with the roadmap of a web3 native organization and ultimately put our Common Ground comunity on hold while we focused on building behavior on a more accessible platform. With that said – I am looking forward to the day when we our paths reconnect. I believe the future of community is on-chain and Common Ground are deep in the game.
I’m rooting for them.
In the meantime – listen to this insanely eclectic playlist that we put together 🙂

The first visual memory I have is that of the white upright piano in Singapore, Hell and the Dark Forces lived at the bottom, Heaven and the Angels at the top, they would play battles through my fingers and I was hooked.
As a psychology graduate I studied how sound affects human performance.
As a musician I compose instrumental music that stimulates your brain but doesn't mess with your language centers, leaving you free to be creative and brilliant without distraction.
As a curator I research how music can improve your life and create flow - I can tell you what music to listen to when studying for a test and why listening to sad music can make you feel better.
As a creator / contributor at musicto I’m part of a global creator community that collaborates through music. You can learn more about our community here.
