Creating this RnB playlist with Shank felt really seamless, I think our existing knowledge on RnB music really helped to create a blend of tracks that really complimented the flow of the playlist. Also, I think there was good synergy between the selection of songs included even with the blend of new school and old school tracks. I’ve always enjoyed listening to old school RnB music but it was quite engaging to re- discover underrated songs that I might have not listened to as frequently

Making this list definitely took me back to the 1990’s R&B. A bunch of these ended up on my Jr. High/High School “Phone Tapes” (80’s and 90’s thing). School dances, house parties, and general chill sessions. It seems like it flowed out of us very quickly as each song would lead you down a path or jog your memory instantly. I LOVED making this list and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did putting it together.
