This is a slow building rock song by some of the greatest voices in vocal entertainment, the Eagles. It is about the feeling you get after spending years of your life on someone's love: was it all worth it?
One of the slower and lesser known tracks from their hit album, Hotel California, Wasted Time starts with an interesting piano and xylophone figure, packed to the brim with open space. The song ends up playing out like a movie, with vivid imagery and characters that remind us that this is not just a song: it is our lives.
The Eagles are a group that often go unnoticed by me in the day-to-day, but when the feelings are right, I always put on an Eagles album. And I always take time to relish the moments this song is playing.

About The Curator - Evan Lesniak
Evan Lesniak is an old soul in a young man’s body. He shuns modern music for the vibe of 1960’s and 1970’s rock and roll, jazz, and any amalgamation of the two. He is a musician/composer who writes and records his own music in his own bedroom – but you certainly couldn’t tell.
