Sometimes our love must go. We don’t want them to, but we recognize that the time is right for them to move on. Their life leads them elsewhere, and we can’t go with them. What we provide is not enough to satisfy their desire for happiness in life.
These emotions cannot be portrayed better than with “Claudia’s Theme” by Clint Eastwood, an entirely instrumental song. A lonely acoustic guitar starts off the track accompanied by complete silence, only to be joined by another delicate companion. An orchestra quietly brews in the background until it erupts in sweet legato. The acoustic guitars retake their place in the song, only to be drowned out by silence yet again.
“Claudia’s Theme” was written for the dark western film, Unforgiven, also starring Clint Eastwood. It is an emotional take on the dying Wild West, as the last outlaws fade out into oblivion.

About The Curator - Evan Lesniak
Evan Lesniak is an old soul in a young man’s body. He shuns modern music for the vibe of 1960’s and 1970’s rock and roll, jazz, and any amalgamation of the two. He is a musician/composer who writes and records his own music in his own bedroom – but you certainly couldn’t tell.
