Today we are proud to share the first of many wonderful songs received by artist submission through Music To Save a Lost Soul. This song by D Mills sparks a vintage feeling groove with this beautiful duet. D Mills describes his track:
"I Need You is self explanatory. No tricks or gimmicks just a song about not living without the one you love. I originally wrote this song and sang the demo. I wanted my friend Ehmandah to sing the whole song. After playing it for her and countless others, they all insisted that my voice stay on it. Then I thought of the brilliant idea of splitting the parts up and making it a duet between her and I. In the song I play with the idea of the girl noticing the guy first and the guy responding. As the song progresses they both see why they were meant for each other and how they should never be apart. At the end of the day nothing savesa lost soul like love and that's why I feel this song would fit great on your playlist."

Named after Belinda Carlisle, solo artist and lead singer for The Go-Gos, making music has always been second nature to Belinda M. Growing up in a household that was largely influenced by Filipino culture, it was impossible for her to avoid belting out a few tunes into a karaoke mic at an early age. After her parents discovered she could play piano by ear at age 4, lessons promptly began. She later started writing poetry and playing guitar, which eventually lead to her becoming a singer/songwriter.
For Belinda, writing and listening to music has always been an essential creative outlet and place of solace. She released her debut EP, “I’m Not Broken” in October 2016, and continues to write and release new music. Her lyrics have been recognized by “American Songwriter Magazine” and her music is featured on the award-winning “Women Of Substance Radio and Podcast.” Check out Belinda’s music and learn more at www.belindammusic.com
