Statik Selektah is easily one of the most underrated producers of the last 10 years and it’s crazy that he’s already on his eight studio album which is titled simply 8.
The album is expected to release later this year but before that, Statik will be dropping a bunch of singles. After the 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa-assisted ‘Man of The Hour‘ in July, the Boston based producer is back with the follow up, ‘But You Don’t Hear Me Tho’ which features The LOX (Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Styles P) and veteran Soul & Funk group MTume. Yes, THAT MTume.
This song is right in the lane of what we’re used to hearing from Statik. It’s street but smooth at the same time with plenty of live instruments gracing the beat
