Amen, sister. Whomever among us has not been Broke may cast the first bill payment. This is why we work. And when we quit, being broke can be our biggest fear. But not to worry, backed by worry-free guitar plucking, Ari Lennox sings lines like:

“Yeah, you know I've been low before / I'll bring cups, you bring the smoke”

Cause we all know the first thing you sign up to bring when you’re on a budget is cups and napkins.

“Oh,” J.I.D says as he turns his head. “You’re talking to me?” as he proceeds to up the ante of #brokelife:

“It ain't really all about money to me / Chillin' if you tryna find something to do / Sittin' there lookin' like somethin to eat”

Sounds like Ari and J.I.D have everything under control. Being broke isn’t the end of the world after all. Especially when you can vibe on a beat like this from the Dreamville production team.
