"I can only give to you what I have already given myself." - Yung Pueblo.
If you practice yoga, or are interested in taking a deeper dive into your self I HIGHLY recommend Yung Pueblo's book "Inward." The above quote is derived from it and cannot be any more true. To give to your fullest capacity, whether that be in relationships or your career, you need to truly understand yourself and cement your roots deep into your truest you.
Groundedness is the key to exploring and maximizing the present moment, and in turn the future. Without having proper roots, we are susceptible to the overwhelming chaos that surrounds us on a daily basis. As most of you do not know, I have moved to San Francisco less than 48 hours ago and my life has been understandably all over the place. But amidst this fun, chaotic transition, I can turn back inward and re-establish my sense of self. During my move, I had this track on the repeat as it helped calmed my nerves and worries of the future.
"Whatever You Want" by Vasser forms a gateway that allows your roots to spread throughout your life, and by extension, your practice. This track offers a weightless, delicious ambiance that melts two polar opposites: the synthetic and the organic. Tenderly plucked strings coupled with an earthy percussion and rippling bursts of synth makes this track one of a kind. Allow the heavy bass to echo through as you slowly begin to anchor down, tethering yourself to a state of simplicity.
Be grounded. Be you. Explore this track and let your roots grow.
