Conscious breakups are never easy. You are losing a soul that you once called your own and are mourning the loss of another human. Coming to terms with the realization that the plan and future you built up in your head will never happen is heart wrenching.
You present yourself fully as you are – letting them see all of you. The good, the doubts, the fear, the greatness, the weaknesses, the triggers – all of it up for review.
And that’s the beauty behind it all.
Being so vulnerable and open to another person’s soul that you being to get lost from the chaos of the life around you. The vast sea that is their mind, their body, and their spirit as you explore all that they have to offer without judgement and criticism.
But with this rawness comes risk. A risk of being seen too much, a risk that this may all end swiftly and abruptly, a risk of having to pull the togetherness of your souls apart and cary on your separate ways.
But that’s a risk I’ll take every damn time.
“The Sea” by Rob Lewis is another brilliantly user submitted track that has been on my yoga playlist for the better part of half a year. While I have always loved the track, I didn’t quite “get it” until my recent breakup. It exemplifies traits, characteristics and is designed to focus your awareness on the importance of rebuilding and preserving something that is home – which is something that is extremely relative to me now as I begin to go on my journey alone.
To put it simply, this track authentically emotes the magnificence that the life around you and how you have the power to create the life you want.
As I push out and sail onto these uncharted waters, it’s time to create my own life and legacy and to use the strength I have within myself to do so.
Dive into “The Sea” and watch as the oceans and waves of your truest self begins to roll.
