After taking some time off to redefine my life - I am back with a terrific, chilly, motivating and flowy track from Dreamers Delight.
"Brooklyn" starts off slow, pulling you into its source of truth and raw power that is ready to be unleashed. As the song progresses, so does the anticipation and build up - propelling yourself through the fears and mental blockades you have set up for yourself.
Throughout life and my life in particular - I have had many mental limitations that I have put upon myself. And while it's difficult and a struggle to push through these seemingly immovable objects, I find joy and excitement in what lies on the other side. As I learn and live - I want to challenge my students to do the same. To truly disregard their past story and redefine what it means to be them. To plow through the blockade of "I can't do a handstand", of "I can't sit in this pose any longer." Because yes you most certainly can! Just because you haven't and your story has revolved around you not doing so - doesn't mean you can't turn that next page of your story to where you are already doing it.
So go on and enjoy this track on repeat; redefine what it means to be you.
