Even when you don’t know what it is, your path, your purpose, your dream, you can feel it when you are getting close, you feel light, you feel good like anything is possible. That’s hope, hope for a better day than yesterday and a better day tomorrow, and when it is better you can learn to trust that feeling. It feels good to feel good. You get faith in that feeling and faith in yourself.
Tom Petty is following that feeling “Working on a mystery going wherever it leads”. In the track he is driving, he is in motion, not standing still looking for something, he is following – like he is being pulled.
The answers wont come at once and maybe not at all. The question might change and even go away and what’s left? Hope, faith and a feeling – feeling like anything is possible.
Your path and your dream are as unique as you are that is why only you know how you feel. These feelings can guide you through the great mystery if you choose to lead yourself.
If you can t find the feeling, sing this song with everything you have, and you will find it.
When you find that feeling, feed it and nurture it, by feeling it, listening to it and acting on it. It will grow and you will feel it more and more.
What feelings are you feeding now?
Thank you Tom Petty for showing me how to Run down a dream.

About the Curator: Erin Murray
Erin, a Mother of 1 little man and wife to 1 big man has learnt much about herself in the past few years. After moving from the city to the bush (near the Ocean), there weren’t as many distractions as she had become accustomed to, in a smaller community she lost her anonymity and slowly began to become aware of herself, her feelings, the life she had created for herself and her relationships with others. Seeking change from the feelings and behaviors which had become her normal, she sought out methods to do just that. Slowly at first, then a bit more and a bit more she is becoming aware of what she actually wants for herself and has begun removing the things that aren’t that, inside and out. Learning about faith (not religionJ), fun and how to be gentle with herself and others along the way.
