A good friend of mine suggested this track for the Ocean playlist recently. No, that’s not right, really he, and his are part of our family, showing up when I was hard to be around and staying, just to be there, not forcing me to be “ok”. That makes this track even more meaningful to me. It means that he is in a really good place, he can see what he has in his life and he is grateful. It also means that others can see that I am happy and I am grateful, and so can I.
I am responsible for myself and my world. I can experience the beauty and wonder that is happening right in front of me if I choose to focus on that. An unconditional kindness shown from one person to another, a belly laugh from a baby, the infinite love I feel for my family, the fullness I feel in my heart when I think of my son, and how much he loves me even when I feel like I don’t know what I am doing. Joy, bright and free, knowing now that I will feel it again and again with no trepidation.
I am responsible for myself, I am now, I am focus, I am joy.
All my life, I have never seen so much light.

About the Curator: Erin Murray
Erin, a Mother of 1 little man and wife to 1 big man has learnt much about herself in the past few years. After moving from the city to the bush (near the Ocean), there weren’t as many distractions as she had become accustomed to, in a smaller community she lost her anonymity and slowly began to become aware of herself, her feelings, the life she had created for herself and her relationships with others. Seeking change from the feelings and behaviors which had become her normal, she sought out methods to do just that. Slowly at first, then a bit more and a bit more she is becoming aware of what she actually wants for herself and has begun removing the things that aren’t that, inside and out. Learning about faith (not religionJ), fun and how to be gentle with herself and others along the way.
