Controlling our thoughts and emotions can prove to be quite the challenge, especially if we’re going through some life-changing events and learning to cope with the negative outcomes is a long and tedious process.
Another thing we should learn to cope with is what lies within our control, because if we’re aware that X or Y is unfortunately out of our direct control there is really nothing we can do about it (unless you’re forcefully trying to achieve something, which just goes beyond my reach and I cannot elaborate on that).
Think about all those times where you felt like shit about something, did you feel guilty as well?
Was it fair that you felt guilty? just think it through and try to avoid judging the situation because it’s so easy to judge something that we get lost in ourselves.
One of the first steps to peace of mind is letting go of our unfair judgement.
