How long does it usually take you to get back on track after a bad experience? one of those experiences that leave a very bad feeling for a while; in this case, this “while” is the subject I’m trying to analyse.
I can’t think of something more arbitrary right now because it 100% depends on who we are, when are we experiencing this in our lifetime, what is our mindset and personality telling us about it, how we cope or open with what society is throwing at us, and what we’re used to and what we’re telling us about the current and future emotional situation; our expectations, basically.
There’s no particular formula to getting back up after an emotional disaster, we all have our times and ways of regaining peace of mind. Yet we can easily analyse ourselves. Emotions act in similar ways/directions but they’re a few degrees away, which is a huge difference. This means that shared feelings between situations can lead you to a similar solution if analysed properly.
Of course it’s not as easy as it seems, this takes years of focus and even more years of practice because trying to constantly change by yourself, for the better, is not easy at all.
Solutions might not be a matter of intensity, but repetition.
