David Karsten Daniels is one of the best songwriters out there, and he's one of the most creative and interesting musicians I know of. This song from his 2016 album, Kaleidoscope, is one of its catchiest, with its upbeat rhythm, addictive chorus, and perfectly placed guitar and piano. The lyrics are also relatable for anyone who's gone through a period of self-doubt and renewal.
The rest of the album touches on multiple genres, including pop, rock, folk, hip hop, jazz. They all fuse together to form something wonderful and unique. It's ridiculously good; so good that it's baffling he's not more well-known.

About the curator - Becky Welch
Becky has been a music-obsessed, compulsive playlist maker and live music enthusiast for as long as she can remember. Few things delight her more than sharing music and geeking out with people who care as much about it as she does. She plays piano and “plays” the ukulele and guitar. She likes almost every genre but is mostly drawn to fun songs that make her dance with abandon.
