I've been following Sondre Lerche ever since his first album, Faces Down, which I bought on a whim at the time, only knowing one or two really great tracks. The first time I listened to it, I was in the car driving somewhere, of course. I had just bought the album and popped it into my car, and I did not stop grinning till it was over. I've seen him live a few times, and each time I see him, it ends up being my new favorite show.
He’s tried out several different genres from pop to rock to jazz to 80's throwback. I think he's at his best in the pop/rock genre, and this song represents the best of his songs in that category. It is a downright jam.
