Hey afrobeats lovers, this is one song i am truly sorry for not posting earlier. “Anoti” is another classic record off Wizkid’s Deluxe Edition of “Made In Lagos” which housed 18th tracks with lots of guest appearances internationally. From the project, the song “Anoti” stands as the 18th track which has been attracting fans attention and accumulating lots of streams on the digital streaming platforms.
The year 2020 was a great and successful one for Wizkid on his album “Made In Lagos” which is still going viral. “Made in Lagos” is the fourth studio (and second major label) album by Nigerian singer Wizkid. It was released on 30 October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records. It features guest appearances from British artists Skepta and Ella Mai, American R&B singer H.E.R., Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley, and Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tay Iwar, Terri and Tems, the latter of whom features on the international-charting song “Essence”.
“Made in Lagos” received favorable reviews for its cohesive themes, particularly ruling out the flaws on Wizkid’s previous works, “Sounds from the Other Side” and “Soundman Vol 1”.
Pulse Nigeria wrote: “On Made in Lagos he promotes culture and globalisation, with the album also containing themes of love, focus, goodwill, gratitude and grace. He implements the use of live instrumentation on “Made in Lagos” and explores a range of genres”.
On 27 August 2021, the deluxe edition of the album was released with guest appearances from Nigerian artist Buju and Canadian singer Justin Bieber. In support of the album, Wizkid embarked on the Made in Lagos Tour (2021–2022). Truly, Wizkid’s enthusiasm has led him to be one of the greatest afrobeats artistes of all time and this song is another one that will surely be worth a place in your playlist. Enjoy!
