I first encountered Hannah Sumner’s name through one of Adam Neely’s videos on Youtube and decided to look her up as I have not been paying much attention to vocal-based music recently (Adam Neely is a performing musician in New York with a YouTube channel that has some really interesting educational content on music)
Random fact: I first encountered this sort of dreamy multi track vocal/sound design based composition through the track “Give me Your Soul” by David Soltany via the Spectrasonics Omnisphere Contest (Omnisphere is a software synthesizer) - but that was in 2008 and I have forgotten about it until now.
Funny how a completely different musician/track in 2018 felt like a continuation of it, reigniting my interest in this type of music.
