I have to say, I'm not sure I have ever heard a song with a male/female back and forth sort of dialogue that I didn't like. This track is no exception. Over an island style beat Jimmy Cozier and Melissa Musique sound like two true lovers that can't decide if they are from 1960s Motown or a modern day Jamaican dancehall - and the result is gorgeously slick. The song is sexual without being raunchy and sincere without being heavy. The lyricism is simple and poetic, drawing images of the most basic, everyday pleasures of life like "a little milk inside your coffee cup", or a plate of scrambled eggs.
This is the kind of song that you and your significant other should learn all the words to. This is the kind of song that might be featured in a movie with Ashton Kutcher or Justin Timberlake, where the lead characters are not supposed to fall in love but inevitably do (usually soon after the scene where they realize they both know every word to some underrated song). This track is fun and it's joyful, and it is also an ode to an innocent kind of connection. And maybe even a reminder to not take the simple pleasures of life for granted.
