About this Playlist
Pig songs weren’t exactly at the top of my “must do” playlist ideas, but I happened to drop St. Vincent’s cover of “Piggy” into a collection of animal-named songs, and somewhere along the way started collecting pig and pig-adjacent tracks. By the way, this song, and the original “Piggy” by Nine Inch Nails, are in no way related to those much misunderstood creatures with big pink bellies and curly tails. Indeed, few of the songs on this playlist are about actual pigs. I guess somewhere along the way we stop seeing them as adorable heroes and start casting them as dirty villains, but that’s neither here nor there. The important thing is that you now have yourself a pretty great pig playlist!
