This weeks hot track has but one lyric. But who could argue a statement that is so accurate? Mocky is a brilliant musician who has written and or produced a substantial amount of unique music. This track taps into the world of laid back "G Funk" if you will. Everybody's chillin' on the track. The tones are tastefully thick, and those synths are back again. He throws in some modulation and a bass line that is not on the 1 to keep you on your toes. Fresh.
The Groove You playlist is always in search of songs and artists that have standout, one-of-a-kind originality within their funk. This composition has a tea kettle in it. Now that's what I'm talkin' bout. Beyond that, Mocky's music tends to have a particular live vibe to it that is certainly recognizable. All in all, an enjoyable experience always unfolds when listening to this song.
