Attention all groove connoisseurs, this ones for you. If your thinking, how did an artist achieve such a proper D'angelo vibe? It's because Isaiah Sharkey is a member of D'angelo's Vanguard band, and his velvety guitar work is all over the Black Messiah album.
Sharkey's solo music is pure, fresh, and wringing-wet with soul. There aren't many guitarists on his level, but he is not just shredding here. The fact that he is also singing and writing great songs like Truth, showcases his world-class musicianship. "It's that thing that you've been missin'...that unadulterated truth."
