This is basically the Avengers of modern day funk. Three of the baddest heroes on the scene put it down on tape via Color Red Music and it’s absurd. It’s raw groove music at it’s finest. Adam Deitch is putting down extremely crispy, thick breaks. It’s a drum clinic. Robert Walter plays with the deepest amount of soul possible. Eddie Roberts contunues to be a master of tone, time, and taste. He is also responsible for the stylish, saturated production that brings it all together. Top it off with the greasy sax work of Nick Gerlach and this track/album just destroys. This trio embodies the groove happy place that we all want to be in living in.
