“We offer people who are dealing with grief a care package designed by a psychologist to help make their journey in grief a little less painful. For example, our triage box has many items to help with the physical symptoms of grief in the early stages such as nausea, difficulties with sleep, forgetfulness. Receiving these boxes monthly reminds those grieving that they are not alone, that the person sending them is thinking about them, and is acknowledging that grief lasts quite some time. Once we have an online platform ready, those grieving will also be able to have more contact with the person or persons who sent them their care packages. We also send information and reminders to the people who purchased the box(es) for them of ways they can be better “grief supporters.””
