This song has been on repeat for the last couple weeks, just ask my roommates. And I’ll tell you why. This song has all my favorite components of good music. Good lyrics-which allow the listener to interpret them whichever way they want or need. A Different voice-Banks’s voice is frail, but strong. She has the power to convey emotions, and cause you to drown them. My favorite songs or artists have one in thing in common, they don’t let the music overpower their voice. While yes I enjoy the occasional pop, edm song I tend to go for acoustic, emotional music.
The last couple weeks my mood has definitely been all over the place. As you can see in my choices in tracks. I keep hoping the next week will be better, but I just have to keep moving forward.

About the Curator - Ashlee Villasenor
Ashlee Villasenor is a senior at Austin College who watches too much Netflix and listens to her music a bit too loud. Her passion for music stems from a childhood full of sleeping on chairs at concerts to singing at the top of her lungs with her dad in the car to every new album he bought her. She's a Tumblr obsessed vegetarian, an animal-lover, a "let's share our feelings through music" kind of girl, who you will never catch without her journal and her pen in hand.

This feels like a song I would have played on repeat while I was in middle school.
The difference is that in middle school I would have said love was real, right now that’s hard to believe, especially at first sight.
