To me the track of the week I post is very personal. I overthink it. I try to decide which track fits best with the concept of the playlist, if the placement of the track is the right one. I pretty much drive myself insane, but I love it. Here’s a song that fits with my week. So in a way the track I choose for the week kinda reflects the headspace I am in. And as you can notice this week is a little more upbeat, but still pretty sad. That’s a pretty accurate description of me as a person. My life this past week has been hectic, but a little more organized which I guess is represented through the somewhat chaotic sounds in this track. On the other hand I’ve been having recurring memories of my past semester living in London. It became so familiar and special to me that it is home, so hearing this song over and over makes me want to go home (London) more and more.
I guess the moral of this ramble of words is let music soundtrack your life and every aspect of it because not only will it make it better, but all your memories will be attached to song.

Her passion for music stems from a childhood full of sleeping on chairs at concerts to singing at the top of her lungs with her dad in the car to every new album he bought her.
