This song took me to another dimension. This is the track I have been waiting for. The beat, the melodies, the adlibs, the rhythm... My soul has been revived.
NAV is either hated or loved by the music community. Regardless he has proved his worth by hitting #1 on the Billboard charts with his latest album "Bad Habits". Taking Chances is by far one of the best tracks on the album in my opinion, and the opening line is so addictive that I have replayed the song 77 times already according to Itunes. Not even counting my Soundcloud plays.
Taking Chances is full of energy, and NAV spits bar after bar on the track. I just took a business trip to New York City and was blasting this song everywhere I went. I had no worries in the world. The track really managed to bring my spirits to a different dimension. This is what this playlist is all about. Music that is addicting and music that makes you feel all different types of emotions.
I won't even get into the lyrical content of the track. One thing is for sure, it has made me reevaluate the choices I've made with certain people this past month. No regrets though. The song speaks to me, to say the least.
NAV really came through with an amazing track and album. "Taking Chances" highlights the beauty in trap music and the ability it has to change the way you feel. And before you come to a conclusion on if you enjoy the track or not, listen to it 5 times. I didn't notice how hard it went until a few listens.
