This week the playlist is transported into a trance of modern r&b from the melody king Swae Lee. Sextasy is the latest release from the popular artist and he does an amazing job of using his vocals to bring the track to life, as well as give it a modern r&b feel.
The album art for the track sets the vibe pretty well. A futuristic angel in space is the vibe I got from it and when listening to the song I am almost induced into a space type paralysis.
The track itself is amazing. Clean and crisp vocals, a simple beat, and lyrics that are relatable and beautiful. A mid-September getaway is a great description for the track, as the emotion it creates is quite amazing. Swae Lee has proved his consistency in the industry with numerous hit singles and albums. Best known for his activeness in the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd, Swae Lee has proven his authority as a solo artist and leaves fans wondering if the duo is even worth staying in if his voice shines so bright on its own. This track proves that he is a force to be reckoned with.
