Blending world music, soul and hip hop, the young Brooklyn group perfectly encapsulates a world where sometimes it’s hard to rely on anything but the moon – “it’s constant, unlike these human beings…”
Going further, the lyrics let us know that reality is bigger than just what we see here on Earth, and sometimes the celestial is all we can count on. We must be cautious in our interactions among humans, but the moon will return to us each night, giving us a light in the dark. The acoustic piano, smooth vocals, and funky bass and drums ride out until the end of the track, allowing us to feel more than alright with these truths.
